Why you should consider a one trip container.

New/One Trip Shipping Containers

If you are in the market for a storage container, let me tell you why you should consider a one ship unit.

First, lets start with a definition:

New containers are built in China, loaded with cargo and shipped one time. They show minors signs of use. New containers are also called one trip containers, one ship containers, one tripper, one trip conex to name a few.

Now back to excellent reasons to mull over a new shipping container:

1. Built to last-these units are made to withstand the toughest marine conditions. Shipping containers are built to hold up for 20 years for shipping. There are no studies (that I know of) that rate these for storage. I have had one trip units in my storage rental fleet for 20' years-they still operate and look great. We just put a coat of paint as needed.

2. Doors are easy to operate-one ship containers still won't swing as freely as your front door. However, I can open and close. I am a woman of moderate ability. I sometimes struggle with doors on used containers, but never with new ones. If your family or employees will be in and out of these-save the fuss and cuss-go with a new shipping container.

3. Incredibly strong-our cargo containers are made of 14 gauge cortens steel. The floors are 1 & 1/8th inch thick marine grade plywood. You will be hard pressed to find any other structure this affordable and secure. In all my years of renting these for storage, I have never seen one damaged by a customer to the point it is totaled. No kidding-you have to run a forklift through the side to cause real mayhem (yes-I seen that more than once). :(

4. Affordable-when compared with traditional construction or storage sheds, these win every time. Since they are portable-you can place them at your business, land or home.

In addition, these conex containers have waist high locking rods and factory installed lock boxes.
