Do shipping containers require title work?
No.
Nope.
No way Jose.
I had a nice customer call me today. He is price shopping and I totally get that. If I make a major purchase, I shop around too. The problem is the bargain price he has been quoted is coming from someone that told him he must pay in advance for "title work". My customer is a first time buyer and frankly it sounds like his bargain supplier is flat out, bold faced lying.
Yep-I just called someone a liar.
I am not sure about you-but I do shop around for good value. Part of the value is in knowing that I am not getting jerked around or buying goodness knows what from some random weirdo. I like to purchase well informed and confident.Shipping containers don't ever come with titles. Only vehicles with wheels require titles. Like your car, boat trailer, semi-trailers, intermodal container chassis. Stuff with wheels...The only paperwork you might need, aside from an invoice, is a CSC Certificate (Convention of Safe Containers). CSC inspections are required when shipping cargo overseas. CSC inspections are done by independent marine surveyors-not container brokers or dealers. I don't do these inspections. I call a professional marine surveyor. He passes or fails the container for cargo use. If the unit passes, a sticker is applied to the door (shows date of inspection) and a paper certificate is issued in your or your company name.

I'm truly enjoying the design and layout of your blog. It's a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a developer to create your theme? Outstanding work!
